Wow! 2008. Our celebration turned out to be somewhat anticlimactic, but we had fun anyway. Since I woke up yakking we canceled our par-tay plans of ice skating and First Night in Provo and opted for a more low-key activity that didn't require a lot of energy ;) We ended up taking the kids to Bee Movie at the dollar theater at 9:30. It was a really cute movie (definetly better than Ratatoullie) and by the last 5 minutes dd had fallen asleep, so it was easy putting her to bed as soon as we got home. Ds fell asleep early in the movie, so he too was zonked out by the time we got home at 11:30. Luckily I had broken out the noisemakers, necklaces and head-boppers early in the night to snap some pictures before the new year :)
