All hail ye olde Butt Cracker

32 long years ago a child was born. In the early hours of the morning young Fenton was brought forth into this world, making a truly memorable entrance, cracking his mother's tail bone with his swarthy man-chest. Thus, the Butt Cracker was born.

As with any Fenton celebration there was plenty of whole grains and fruity goodness to mark the occasion -- accompanied by the (repetitive) angelic singing of "Happy Birthday To You" by the one and only singing superstar, Shaylie.

We took the rowdy celebrations to the canyons for dinner, dessert and exploring.

You'll notice Trent's two candle-lit poop nuggets. Those are actually our favorite truffles which have the unfortunate tendency of resembling poop-nuggets.
A highlight of the evening was the opening of presents, when Shay finally had the chance to give dad his Chocolate Nuts that she made (practically) all by herself! I would say it was a grand surprise, but the first thing she said that morning was "Daddy it's your birthday? Do you want me to give you your chocolate nuts now?"

Trent also enjoyed the card Shay and I made for him -- a personalized birthday questionairre:

Daddy According to Shaylie
1) What is your daddy's name? Daddy, no Trent
2) What is daddy's favorite food? Chocolate nuts
3) How old is Daddy? Three years old?
4) What does Daddy do for work? Type and work.
5) What is Daddy's favorite thing to do? Color with me. Love me.
6) Who is Daddy's favorite person? Daddy's friends.
7)What do you like best about Daddy? He is my friend.
8) What is Daddy's favorite color? Pink and purple.
9) What is Daddy's favorite book? Comic books. And work books. And library books. And my books.
10) What is Daddy's favorite thing to do with you? Do pushups. And love me.

The rest of the evening was spent hiking and exploring, while I took pictures and waddled behind in my fuddy-duddy pregnant fashion.

Happy Birthday Ye Olde Butt Cracker!
