THE party

On June 30th Shaylie celebrated her FOURTH birthday. To celebrate the occasion we threw yet another water party -- her third one -- and invited four friends to celebrate with her.
Shaylie had been asking about her birthday for months and was SO excited for the day to finally arrive. I'm amazed she slept the night before!
The kids enterained themselves with water balloons and water fights, while I ensured they went home sugar-happy with watermelon balls, watermelon popsicles and pink frosted cupcakes (which Shaylie insisted on after reading the book "Pinkalicious"). That night we continued the celebration with her meal of choice: Chicken nuggets and oven fries. Got to love it. We took everyone out to see "Monsters vs. Aliens" which had a few too many stressful alien scenes for our birthday girl :)
It was a wonderful day and we are always happy to celebrate Shaylie, our favorite four year old! We love you Shaylie-Bug!
