Christmas Day!

This Christmas was truly wonderful! Both Shaylie and Truman fully grasped the Santa factor (big difference from last year!) so we had two very extremely giddy children on Christmas Eve! 8 a.m. Christmas morning Trent was on the phone with his family chatting with Elder Jessee (soon to be Punkle Paul once again in three months :) and the kids woke up not too long afterwards.
It was pure torture for them to have to wait while Trent was on the phone -- esp. since they had seen a glimpse of the goodies under the tree. Personally I enjoyed making them wait ... reminded me of years and years of impatiently waiting for my dad to take the dog out, feed the dog, get the camera ready etc. etc. ... now it's my turn!
We were blessed with beautiful gifts from friends and family this year. Truman was SO stinking excited to open a present that we had to practically hold him still while others took a turn opening a gift. He asked Santa for "treats and cars" this year and both of his grandparents gave him a new car and Santa brought him some Air Heads in a Cars treat box :) Shaylie's top item was a mermaid barbie which she was SO excited to receive. Thanks to the magical blankets from the night before Marilee pretty much slept through the whole morning, so Tru was happy to open her presents for her :)
Overall it was a beautiful and relaxing Christmas spent at home, in our jammies, with Papa Murphys to eat and new toys to keep us busy :)

(Truman got the tie from Grandma/pa Crabb and put it on right away. He wore it all day with his jammies :D

(Shaylie got this "Jasmine"/Cleopatra dress from Aunt Tricia and it is her new favorite)
